To ensure the fairness of the competition, umpires are to follow the actions of Competing Teams, Competing Teams Support, Competition Organisers, Competition Staff, Visitors, etc.

As a default, anyone else but an umpire might cause situation where fairness or equal conditions to all does not apply. This can happen intentionally or (as is the majority of the cases) unintentionally.

b.      Friendly forces

As umpires are to be impartial only two units are considered as friendly forces: Competition Logistics and Competition Air Support.

c.       Attachments and Detachments

Umpires have, at any time, right to investigate and check the identity of competition team members, competition team support personnel and/or competition organisation member.

Umpires have, at any time, right to investigate and check the equipment competition teams are using during the competition and/or equipment competition organisation is providing as check point task or other tasks material.

Umpire teams and patrols are to keep the umpire operations aware of their location all the time. If umpire teams and patrols are on the move then the name of the unit that umpires are attached is to be reported.

The Scoring Centre will operate as individual unit in connection to the competition HQ with no monitoring duties.

Umpires are to remain totally impartial during the competition. That is, each task given to competition teams is to be given similar way to every competition team, no help or hints to be given at any time, rulings of engagements must be alike in every case, no talking of tasks or evaluations if outsiders present.
